Unique one inch button pins made by the community for the 2010 Winter Games
FAQ's
How do I register to make a design? Register in person, by phone 604-222-6060 or online at DunbarCentre.ca for any of the sessions on the schedule.
Who will make the buttons? You will make the large scale drawing. Then the Button Bonanza Team will shrink it down to one inch, reproduce it and punch all of the buttons. This is long tedious work but we will have some button presses at the Community Living Room for you to have fun with.
When do we get our buttons? You will get your buttons - and many others - starting February 12th at the Dunbar Community Centre at the Community Living Room.
What's this Community Living Room you keep mentioning? Each Vancouver Community Centre will be creating a community living room with a 50" plasma screen television where neighbours can gather to view the 2010 Winter Games. The Dunbar living room will open on February 12 the day of the opening ceremonies. Activities and entertainment, such as Button Bonanza button trading, will be offered to all who attend.
Do I have to have made a button to participate in the trading and collecting? You don’t need to have made a button to participate in the collecting and trading. Just come to the living room during the games to collect, trade, wear and display the buttons.
